Rydes
A Flutter Android app for motorcycle riders to plan trips and share them with friends. Currently in development.
Why I built it
I built Rydes to learn Flutter. The idea came from wanting something for myself and my friends: a simple way to plan motorcycle trips together.
What I built
A Flutter Android app where riders can:
- Add friends through the app.
- Create trips, and share them with friends.
- Tap the map to add stops, or create routes.
How it works
Firebase stores the app’s data (friends and trips) and handles authentication. Mapbox displays the maps and makes it easy for users to tap and add stops or create routes.
The hardest part
Setting up the maps, and working out how to store the information for each trip and every stop along the way.
